Most people want to remain living independently in their own homes as they get older – it’s without doubt the best place. But unlike modern homes, traditionally built flats and houses were not designed to be user-friendly to older people! This means that daily tasks which would have once been carried out without a thought can become difficult. Whether it’s moving around the home, cooking, cleaning or more specific tasks – sometimes a little help is needed.

My home care services is the self help website for the elderly, their carers and family members and we give practical advice to enable independent living. We’ve designed our website to be a one stop shop for elderly home care providing general advice on home care packages and home adaptations, signposting local specialist services and providing an on-line shop for mobility aids, equipment and consumables.
